By accessing or using RinkIQ ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. RinkIQ is operated by RinkIQ ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
RinkIQ provides AI-powered youth hockey video analysis, player development reports, player profiles, and related features. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze uploaded game footage and generate performance assessments. These assessments are for informational and development purposes only and should not be considered professional scouting evaluations.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating player profiles for minors, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload, including videos, photos, and player information. By uploading content, you grant RinkIQ a non-exclusive license to process, analyze, store, and display this content as part of the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload all content and that it does not infringe on any third party's rights.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
Certain features require payment. Prices are listed on our website and may change with notice. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or Stripe billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. AI Analysis Disclaimer
AI-generated reports are automated assessments based on video frame analysis. They are not a substitute for professional coaching, scouting, or medical advice. Scores and recommendations may vary and should be used as one tool among many in player development. RinkIQ makes no guarantees about the accuracy of AI assessments.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using RinkIQ, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not: use the Service for any illegal purpose; upload content you do not have rights to; attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service; use automated tools to scrape data; harass other users; or misrepresent AI-generated content as professional scouting reports.
9. Limitation of Liability
RinkIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
